Know before you go
Sunset on the Gulf
Every beach here faces west, so every evening has a sunset over the water. The Naples Pier is closed while it's rebuilt (back around mid-2027), but the beach beside it at 12th Ave S is open.
Third Street South Farmers Market
Saturdays 7:30–11:30am, year-round. On Third Street South from mid-November through April; in the Neapolitan parking lot the rest of the year.
Red tide
If the beach air makes you cough, there may be red tide nearby. Check the red tide card above before you go.
Swim near a lifeguard
The Gulf is usually calm, but rip currents still happen. Check the beach card above and swim near a lifeguard when you can.
